PRP For Spinal Stenosis & Vertebral Fractures
Spinal Stenosis & Vertebral Fractures: Patient was involved in 2 motorcycle accidents resulting in disc herniations, ligament strains, and multiple fractures in several vertebrae on his Cervical and Lumbar Spine.
He needed to have a Cervical Fusion and since then he started having severe and debilitating migraines. Patient complained of having bone cracking/popping, constant severe pain and cramping on his Lumbar and Sacro-Coccygeal regions (8 to 9/10), and shooting, burning pain radiating down to the posterior aspect of his thighs and knees.
His main symptoms appeared to be caused by ligament instability, muscle weakness, disc herniations, and multiple spurs inside and outside the spinal canal causing “Spinal Stenosis” (narrowing of the spinal canal and compression of the neural and vascular structures of the cord).
Patient had a lot of difficulty with getting good sleep, changing positions, and performing activities of daily living, sitting, driving, standing, and walking. Patient received 3 rounds of PRP and Prolozone Regenerative Injections to increase ligament stability, combined with Neural Manipulation to release soft tissue and restrictions along the nerves; and improve nourishment to the spinal cord.
Patient reported that his condition is continually improving and he is able to perform a lot more activities without having the radiating, severe, burning nerve pain and muscle cramping he used to have before starting treatments at Health & Hope Institute.
